Europe’s largest Highwire spectacle over the River Corrib and Claddagh Basin in the heart of Galway City, Lifelines is a Galway Circus project 4 years in the making. Staged on 7 x Highwires and featuring a cast of 150 people of all ages and backgrounds, audiences witnessed displays of strength and resilience over one of Ireland’s most iconic waterways. It was one of the most challenging things I have ever done. Huge congratulations to @galwaycircus on a massive achievement - 4 years in the making! We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded a Circus Project Award from the Arts Council to develop The Collector into a full production. We can't wait to begin work on this project that has been in development for a no. of years now.
